Menarini AG contributes annually 10'000 CHF to the SSH-Menarini Travel Grant. Residual money from previous years remains available for future applications.
Travel grants will be awarded to candidates who have submitted an abstract of their work in hypertension or cardiovascular disease to a scientific congress.
Only abstracts accepted for presentation will be considered.
Eligibility
Candidates eligible for application are scientists working in Switzerland.
Selection of Candidates
Candidates will be selected both on the quality of the abstract and on the quality of the congress to which the work has been submitted and will be determined by the Committee of the Swiss Society of Hypertension.

Each application must include:
- Application form
- Curriculum vitae of the candidate
- Final version of the abstract to be presented
- Letter/document of acceptance from the congress/meeting committee
- Bank address (account number)
Deadline
Applications must be received by the SSH office at least two months before the presentation.
Announcement
Names of the candidates and the titles of their work will be announced at the annual meeting of the SSH.
Payment
Candidates can apply for a travel grant depending on the congress site:
Congresses in Europe: CHF 500.-
Congresses outside Europe: CHF 1'000.-
